Education

I graduated from The Baptist College of Florida in 1999 and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Music/Music Education.  I hold certifications in Elementary Education K-6 as well as General Music, Choral, and Instrumental Music K-12 in Florida and Alabama. I graduated from the University of West Alabama with a Masters in Education: Elementary Ed. K-6 and hold certification in Florida and Alabama.



Experience

I have been teaching since August of 1999 - Present.  I have taught in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. This is my 8th year teaching at EES.  I am very excited about teaching 2nd grade this year!



Bio

Hello, my name is Amy Woodham.  I currently teach Kindergarten at Elba Elementary School.  I grew up in Bonifay, Florida.  I graduated from Holmes County High School in 1994. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Piano and a minor in voice. I also hold certifications in Vocal/Choral and Instrumental Music K-12 in Florida and Alabama as well as Elementary Education K-6. I hold my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education K-6 from the University of West Alabama and hold certifications in Elementary Education in Florida and Alabama. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband (Michael) and daughters (Elizabeth and Rebecca). I like to travel, cook, and spend time outdoors.
